How E-Game Arena works

Join eFootball tournaments, play your matches, fill in the results and get paid by M-Pesa. Here is everything, step by step.

  1. Step 1

    Make your team

    Sign up in a minute.

    Choose a team name and add your eFootball ID. Add your phone number too: it is how winners are paid by M-Pesa.

    TipUse the same name you play with, so your opponents recognise you.

  2. Step 2

    Join a tournament

    Pick one and tap Join.

    Free tournaments count at once. For a paid one you pay with M-Pesa or card, and you are in as soon as the payment is confirmed.

    TipCheck the start time before you join, so you can be online for your matches.

  3. Step 3

    Meet your opponent

    A private chat opens by itself.

    When the draw is done, you and your opponent get a private chat (find it under Chats). Say hello and agree a time to play. Every tournament also has a group chat for everyone.

  4. Step 4

    Play and fill in the result

    Score and screenshot, then your opponent confirms.

    Play your game in eFootball. Then open the match, enter the score and upload a screenshot of the result screen. Your opponent taps Confirm and the result is final. If they disagree, the admin looks at the screenshots and decides.

  5. Step 5

    Two legs or best of 3

    Fill in every game, one at a time.

    Some tournaments play a tie over several games. Fill in each game exactly as above: leg 1, then leg 2 (and a 3rd game only if it is 1 each). If the two legs are level, add the penalties in leg 2.

  6. Step 6

    Win and get paid

    Prizes go to your M-Pesa.

    When the final is approved the prizes are worked out. After a short safety wait the admin releases them and winners are paid by M-Pesa. Every game also moves your rating up or down on the Leaderboard.

    TipPlaying earns XP and badges on your profile: win streaks, tournaments entered, titles and more.

  7. Step 7

    Add friends

    Chat any time.

    Open a player's profile and tap Add friend. When they accept you can chat privately whenever you like. Find your friends under Chats, then Friends.

Common questions

Is my money safe?

Entry fees are held by E-Game Arena until the tournament is over, then prizes are released to the winners. A payment only counts once the payment company confirms it.

When do I get my prize?

After the final is approved there is a short safety wait so players can raise a problem. Then the admin releases the prizes and they are sent to the winners' M-Pesa.

What if my opponent does not turn up?

Tell the admin, or use the no-show countdown if the tournament has it. A player who does not show can lose the match.

What if we disagree about the score?

Dispute it. Both of you can add screenshots, and the admin decides from the evidence.

Can I play for free?

Yes. Many tournaments are free to enter, and some have prize money added by the organiser.

Who can see my phone number?

Only the site owner and the admins of your tournaments, so winners can be paid and problems can be solved. Other players never see it.
